This exciting event is open to the public without registration so they can get up close and look at floatplanes, see them fly and talk with the pilots that fly them. The event is just one block north of downtown, east of Main Street between 7th & 9th Streets, on the edge of the lake. (See Google Earth page) Parking is free in the lots in front of, and immediately adjacent to, where the planes park. • A vendor making commemorative T-Shirts with your photo
  • Display of historical info about China Clippers using Clear Lake when the SF Bay was fogged in
  • Seaplane informational seminars
  • Flying events centered just offshore
  • There will be Amphibcars!

FOR PILOTS:

Note: In accordance with the AIM, the Clear Lake Splash-In event frequency is now 122.90 MHz

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please avoid flying over populated areas.

As a direct result of the success of our registration efforts in past years we have been able to maintain our self certification status with the County of Lake in order to comply with the Invasive Species Inspection Requirements. Simply complete the seaplane registration process for the Splash-In, then print out, sign and bring your county inspection form with you. Upon arrival you will be given your sticker. We have included the county fee in your Splash-In Registration Fee.

If flying in and NOT bringing a seaplane onto Clear Lake, you may complete the regular registration process for your group, without the Invasive Species requirements.
