2008 Clear Lake Splash-In Dates: 19-21 September, 2008
Welcome to the 2008 Clear Lake Splash-In.
The 2008 Clear Lake Splash-In is scheduled for September 19 - 21. The Skylark Shores Resort docks will serve fixed-float planes and the ramp at the Natural High School field is available for amphibious seaplanes. Aircraft unable to land on water more than once will be welcome at Lampson Field (1O2), shuttle service will be available Saturday and Sunday from there to the Seaplane Venues. Note: In accordance with the AIM, the Clear Lake Splash-In event frequency is now 122.90 MHz The 2008 Splash-In will be centered on the Natural High School Field. The Skylark Shores Hotel will remain the headquarters of the event. The ramp situation was much improved this year thanks to the combined efforts of the City & County Public Works Dept, the Chamber of Commerce, and especially by the generous dontation from Paul "Bud" Roe. Spot Landing and Water Bombing contests, vendors and seaplane rides will all be available as before. All aircraft operators need to be aware that they are required to have adequate liability insurance in order to attend the event. This website has been created in an effort to provide more complete and timely information to those attending the Clear Lake Splash-In and to help spread the word about the event.
